THE SMITH BROTHERS
BACK TO THE ROOTS
Savannah has a long tradition, and Smith Brothers are proud to be a part, since 1924 Harry and Leon Smith brought their beef from their farm in Claxton, Georgia, to their stall in Old City Market. Over the years the stall became more a supermarket and they opened more stores in other city locations.
2104 decided Robert Anderson and his wife, Brenda, that it was time for the Smith brothers to return to their roots, Not only to return to the physical roots but in theory as well. Doing what they do best, Meat!
A new chapter began in the history of the Smith brothers, and the wonderful Butcher Shop was born. They offer not only a wide range of excellent fresh meat, also a variety of other regional products. From Good wine, cheese, vegetables up to selected regional chocolates.
That the brothers love what they do and fullest conviction are local patriots, feel in every respect and it is fun to visit in the lovingly designed shop to browse and to-be surrounded by plenty of good products.
We think it’s great that the brothers made a new piece of history for themselves. And also go with this decision back to their roots , by following the trend to focus on the main and regional products and to create a perfect shopping experience.
