THE LINE HOTEL

A COLLABORATION TO FEEL

Why is it happen that we publish so often about hotels on our blog !? Because often they are quite good in storytelling and paired with exciting spatial experiences it becomes a completely inspiring overall experience.

Same with THE LINE HOTEL in Los Angeles. In a great location in the middle of Koreatown the LINE has given an old hotel building new life. Pretty nice they worked with the cold concrete of the old days and in the main hall, in the event venues, at the bar and in rooms they finished with warm fabrics and wood for a overall feel-good experience.

Among the highlights of the house is the POT restaurant. Connected to the neighborhood they serve Korean food prepared in hot woks at the table in front of the guests. A spatial experience is the Comissary Bistro, which is a greenhouse next to the pool and offers fresh, local and healthy drinks and snacks. Besides a small Art and Gift Shop in the entrance hall a stylish bar with its own architecture, a small, fine coffee shop can be found and throughout the house enough space for events, workshops and parties.

For us was the philosophy of collaboration and local community the most interesting part. So the hotel relies on numerous partnerships, influence of local artists throughout the house and offers various events for hotel guests and the general public. Due to hat it has become an institution with a large fan base. The workshops cover a wide range of topics such as art, design and food to social media, business and technology. Based on the strong sense of the operator Sydell Group – to combine art, design and business and to provide access.
