A man who is confident, exciting and inspiring. Paco Savio opens the door of the cafes NININA, floats in and welcomes almost all the guests and the crew personally with a charisma full of sympathy and energy. Then he sits down and tells us with passion the whole story behind the NININA Bakery, which he accompanied as creative mind and doer in the realization. More on this in our previous post.


Paco Savio comes with a lot of experience and especially creativity with attention to detail. He has worked in renowned agencies and as a director for commercials around the world as well as creative director for the art houses and hotels at the Faena group. In 2004 he founded the agency REMOLINO with an office in his native city Buenos Aires and in Zurich, Switzerland, where his wife lives. The agency works for clients in Argentina, USA and Europe and offers a range of brand strategy, editorial, motion design up to online and offline communication.

Paco told us, that for him always the concept is the first crucial aspect. Of course, they work with mood boards to pick up customers and to create a visual idea and basis to meet on a level of discussion. But in his role as Creative Director, he pays attention to avoid a “over design”. Just because something is well designed, it does not mean it will work.


“I believe in collaboration – it’s the only way to think outside the box,” said Paco Savio. “Collaboration and the mix of elements is the future.” This can be found in his work such as current for the BALBOA MOVE. Here you will discover the connection of gym and bar on a new level.
For Paco it is all about the soul. A body without a soul is uninteresting. This confirms its love for details and explains why he so enthusiastically tells us about some NININA equipment, such as the classic prosciutto-slicer or the portafilter espresso machine. These are elements that spark life into a concept. For a successful concept the agency Remolino scrutinized, analyzed and diagnosed precise. Then they process and transform the results through creativity into something special. To inflame this fire it requires a clear concept, which directs and provides the framework for an expressive design and communication.
