A VIEW BEHIND THE SCENES

 

A visit at the Comspolitan Las Vegas introduced us into another world. This luxurious resort and casino is one of the most modern and youngest hotel in town with almost three thousand rooms and suites, 3 pools, a remarkable gambling area and a sensational collection of restaurants with renowned chefs and a night club of superlatives. Already the established brand with its distinctive image and promising campaigns entitled “The right amount of wrong” arouses curiosity.

 

The house invites you on luxury level to the wicked flair of Las Vegas. At the entrance to the valet parking the well-known brand name shines in huge letters on the wall. After dropping the car and you walk in by passing every imaginable luxury model of cars. Then you enter the grand lobby with this impressive media orchestration. All columns are displays with fine, bizarre and entertaining content, which continues in the bordure of monitors behind the front desk and in the elevators. A perfection of storytelling, such as the wicked, playful characters in life size on the screens, which act as if they want to take you into the underworld of Las Vegas. Always arty and aesthetically, such as in the underwater world, which makes you feel the lift runs through a huge aquarium.

 

The rooms and suites are very well done and harmony between Las Vegas chic and modern elements with all over very good amenities. It is noticeable that the two high-rise buildings were originally planned as a residential apartment. So all rooms are very large with an ideal layout and a nice bathroom and the studios even have their own terrace or balcony which is unique in Las Vegas. The location and height of the house allows you sensational views over the Strip or, as we can observe from our room the fountains of Bellagio.

 

The best views are of course the High Roller (gambler which plays millions of dollars in the game) Suites. Various exclusive suites, which you can not book but to which you will be invited as an established high roller, can be found on the top floor. We visited with the chief butler one of them and let us introduce into this luxury world. In these huge apartments billiard tables, which can be converted to the dining table, hot tubs, which are sometimes used as ice bucket for drinks at parties and a private cinema and several guest rooms can be found.

 

In an interview with Stella Piccione, one of the hotel manager for this target group and Franz Kollinger, renowned casino manager and now an adviser and agent of high rollers, we have learned that the team of personal butler is the key to this clientele. Because crucial is to establish a personal client relationships and thus to have the opportunity to plan a personalized service. It’s not about getting bigger, more noble, crazy and to be exclusive. Much more important is the personal contact. To accompany the guests, to make their stay as much comfortable as possible and also to surprise them. The overall experience is decisive. For this customized gifts, the favorite drinks and the desired room temperature as well as private shopping experiences are already pre-arranged for the customer. This is only possible in a team with good communication skills, where everyone thinks not only in his department but all ensure the success of a overall experience, taking care always attentive to needs and trends, in order to always improve.

 

The hotel offers a dazzling array in services and sets a terrific storytelling. It’s more like a crazy, luxurious cruise ship with all kinds of activities and opportunities that you do not want to leave. Than for a short trip to the “mainland” to watch the crazy natives and tourists on the Casino Island Las Vegas in the middle of the desert in Nevada. Back on “board” can you lose yourself in the fabled variety of gastronomy. Far from the classic restaurant market the hotel offers various outlets for all tastes and requirements and always with an authentic, sophisticated chief and a associating spatial experience.

 

Our highlight is the shop without a name or known as “the hidden Pizza Shop”. Behind a dark corridor with no signs conceals a small pizza place – really delicious and perfect after a night in the Night Club Marquee.
