STATUS REPORT

HALF FULL!

 

Our glass is not half empty – it is half full and we are sure that when we drink it – we will still be thirsty. Because we acquired a taste of it.

 

We finished already the half of our 8-month expedition around the world, looking for inspiration. At the end of August, we went to the World Exhibition in Milan, Italy, and attuned ourselves to the diversity of international live experiences. A perfect start for a great adventure! Even now we can look back on fantastic first months of our journey – full of touching moments, inspiring discoveries and intensive encounters.

 

On September 8th 2015, we arrived in New York and in three months, embarked on a road trip to the East, Gulf and West Coast. From San Francisco we went again to New York and then on to Brazil. After a fabulous New Year’s Eve in Rio de Janeiro, we just left the lively, colorful and vibrant Buenos Aires in Argentina to Sydney in Australia.

 

We are looking for inspiration, trends and methods in spatial communication – where people, spatial and media are touching the individual. For that, we have discovered small and big ideas, unique and hidden spaces, creative productions and collaborations. We are always curious and eager to find new angles and different approaches. Our encounters are diverse – in addition to event, shows and art exhibitions we visited stores and new business ideas which have an inspiring motivation. Hotels, cafes and restaurants showed us guest experiences in perfection, and made stories tangible. Also, interviews with renowned communication agencies and creative pioneers – as well as the view behind the scenes at the new Facebook Campus, the headquarter of Airbnb or the brandnew, fantastic Museu do Amanhã gave us new perspectives for creative work environments.

 

Because we experience so many impressions every day, we are not able to update our blog in a timely manner! Our current blog articles are still in the U.S. and thus almost two months behind us. But with passion, we will continue with the philosophy to put much energy into the selected presentation of content. In the coming weeks you will find a variety of inspiring stories on our blog.

 

Already today we will be sharing the outstanding trends and factors of success we noticed so far:

 

LOCALITY
The localties and integration in the existing environment is essential for the authenticity, enriching the overall concept due to partnerships and thus, creates a loyal community.

 

COLLABORATION
The interaction of various experts that bring inspiration. As well as the mixture in the form of extensions to the product, service and overall experience are particularly enriching for all – here it comes to the idea of ​​a community again.

 

BACK TO THE ROOTS
Old traditions and crafts need to be revived! The concentration on core competencies as an individual are accompanied by the aforementioned collaboration trend in the form of cooperation. It’s all about telling an honest story.

 

CORPORATE IN DETAIL
Design in all its forms is reflected in outstanding diversity and attention to detail. Even small companies push their brand visually to the last detail, and create (through various touch points) a total experience that makes the brand tangible.

 

SIMPLE INNOVATION

It’s not about reinventing the wheel, but to play on it individually, to change the context, and adapt it. In addition, the collaboration – especially the authentic personality and the accompanying storytelling – is the factor to success.

 

OVERALL EXPERIENCE
At the very least, the overall experience is the decisive point to illicit enthusiasm from the audience. Paramount is what the customer, visitor or guest will remember after his purchase, visit or interaction. What do the say? What do they adore and what do they tell other people about it?

 

SERVICE
Again and again we come back to it – service remains crucial! Nowadays it is expected again on an individual and personal way. And this is the only way we can encourage the big story!
